ILLUMINATING INDIA - YOGA AND MEDITATION

Yoga & meditation originated in ancient India, dating back to 2700 B.C. Yoga has been believed to be significant for both material and spiritual upliftment of humanity and falls under the school of Hinduphilosophical traditions.

There is a broad variety of yoga practices in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Yoga gurus from India introduced yoga to the West and it eventually developed into a posture-based physical fitness, stress-relief and relaxation technique. The implementation of Yoga in India, however, is more than physical exercise; it has a meditative and spiritual core.

With ‘Illuminating India’, you get an oppurtunity to explore the spiritual destinations of India and embark upon a brief indulgence into the distinct practises of yoga and meditation
